Altzimers (Alzheimers) has a better prognosis is there is an early diagnosis. It then becomes possibe to plan the care involving the patient himself, before the Altzeimers has progressed to a point where there is too much Alsheimers brain damage.

Alzimers disease usually begins at a slow pace with lenient signs such as being a little bit forgetful. This is often mistaken for the normal age deterioration of memory functions. After all, most elderly people who forget things are not affected by Alzhimers. Forgetting things is not a conclusive indication of Alzheimers. While in the first stage of Altzheimers, there can be problems with the near-time memory and remembering names of people and friends. In this stage, it is also common that the logical ability of solving simple mathematic problems is affected. These symptoms though, are still not proof enough of an Alzheimers disease and generally should not raise any major concern.
When the Alsheimers disease is progressing, there are more conclusive symptoms and they should be clear warning signs resulting in the consultation of proper medical professionals. The light forgetting from the first stage now has become a large problem which starts to hinder the daily life. In this second Altzimers stage, there is a risk that a patient forgets even the simplest thing such as how to brush his teeth. The difficulties in understanding, reading and speech is also accelerating. In the stages to follow, these problems can become even worse and lead to severe anxiety or even the patient being aggressive. Eventually the Alzhemers patient will need to have full and around-the-clock medical care.
With an early diagnosis of Altzheimers, the treatment of Alzhiemers and its symptoms can be much more effective. One method, the only in fact, to arrive at a conclusive diagnose of Alzehimers is by investigating the brain tissue to determine the presence of tangles or plaques. This however, can only be done conclusively, post mortem. A diagnosis of Alzimers can thus only point to the presence of the disease with a reasonable probability. Doctors can arrive at the Alzhimers diagnose with an error less than 10% by using one or several of the following methods for Alzheimers diagnosing:
With the exception of Alzheimers, some other conditions can display symptoms easy to confuse with Alzeimers signs:
Currently we have no good method of diagnosing the Alheimers symptoms with certainty but it is possible to arrive at a probable diagnosis of Alsheimers with a high degree of probability. Much of the modern medical research is currently aimed at finding better diagnosing possibilities of the signs of Alzhimers (Alhimers) and in finding more Altzheimers medication that has an effect on Alzheimers.
Alzimers disease, or Alzhimers (Altzhimers) is a dementia condition responsible for slowly destroying the brain cells. Alsheimers primarily affects people over 60-65, although Alzehimers (Alsheimers) can appear in lower ages. The condition will eventually lead to hospitalization and the death of the patient.
