During the first stage of Alzimers, patients often forgets all types of things and this behavior will also be progressive. Holding full concentration will in this stage become more problematic and the speech and language abilities will be deteriorating slowly over time, with more difficulty than before to find the right words in any given situation. The patients language, typically also gets simplified in order to handle the problems. Participating in a normal conversation becomes increasingly difficult. There are also often problems with the concentration level and often also a general lack of initiative power. In this Alzehimers stage, Alzhimers disease can be very stressing and depressing to the patient as he is still capable to understand what is happening with the Alzheimers progression.
In the third stage of Alzhemers, we are in the year number four after ths onset and the patient will start to feelmore apathic and there will be large communication problems. Musculature is starting to deteriorate. When a patient has come to this Altzheimers stage, it is quite normal to need full time hospitalization and care. Among complications, there are cases of Alzheimers in this stage that will lead to epilepsy as well. Blood pressure is often normal or maybe a little bit low.
The timespan of a complete Alzhiemers disease cycle can stretch between five to eighteen years.
Alzheimers disease progresses in three stages.
